Paul W. Shaffer is a teacher with the Katy Independent School District in Katy, Texas. With over 24 years experience, he teaches high school theatre to grades 9-12. He serves as the director of educational theatre and is responsible for directing plays, musicals and competitions. He is affiliated with the Texas Educational Theatre Association and the Educational Theatre Association.

Born on January 6, 1963 in Guymon, Oklahoma, Shaffer received his M.A. from Oklahoma State University in 1997.

In his spare time, Shaffer enjoys watching college football, being by the lake and other outdoor activities.
