The online sports club directory and online sports community site SportsBase.com has launched its latest feature called SportsImpact which is the New MSN for sport fans. Aimed at the sites users and Sport clubs across the UK to help build and develop their own community.

The MySpace of sport allows users to create a profile informing other users what sports they play and where they play. The latest and most influential feature on the site was launched last week and is called SportsImpact. This is a VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) system which will allow all club members, players and captains/managers to be able to Chat, Text and Instant message for free.
SportsImpact's technology is far greater than any other VOIP system currently on the market which means it is quicker, more reliable and easier to use.
The unique difference with SportsImpact and other systems is that SportsBase can re-brand the softphone into any clubs colours and logos to make it a clubs own. The softphone can be downloaded on the SportsBase site now and if a club/organisation would like a branded softphone they should contact the site now. The clubs would get a kick back of all advertising and calls/text revenue made which can be used at the grass roots level of sport.
