Dietrich von Schmausen has worked in the Aerospace Engineering industry for the past forty years, including several at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He also spent some time as a Forestry Technician for the USFS. Mr. Von Schmausen has written several social commentary editorials, blogs, and is soon to publish, “Avoid Humans’ (Sci-fi) an ‘Alien’s’ devastating and condemning field report on human life with recommendations regarding continued existence. He also wrote: ‘The Reconstruction and Renovation of Vetter Mountain Fire Lookout’ (Non-fiction, history). This latest book represents Mr. Von Schmausen’s lighter side.
