New T-Shirt Line Combines Hipster Staple with a Reality Check
Young designer launches an Eco-friendly t-shirt line.
New York, NY, May 29, 2008 --(PR.com)-- “Going Green” is nothing new, but standing out from the recent onslaught of eco-friendly apparel choices is a line called 3Strings. At just 20 years old, Rachel Pellman launched her own line of limited edition t-shirt made of 100% organic cotton. The line of t-shirts inspired by “haters and posers,” features V-Neck shirts with different saying in various languages.
“The idea was simple. I used something that almost everyone I know wears, and put something on it that I think everyone needs to be reminded of,” states the young designer.
Based on the idea of slander, pretentious behavior and gossip, sayings such as “who are you to judge” in Hebrew, “who am I to judge” in Arabic and “as far as the eye can see” in French, provide a comfortable, non gender specific and fashionable alternative to boring white shirts.
"With summer here, and only 95 shirts available, we have feeling 3Strings is going to enter waiting list status," she says.
You can see the shirts and read more about the company at www.the3strings.com
