As a young man, Johnny Lee Williams Jr. had unresolved anger due to the absence of this father. His father passed away while he was a young boy. Due to this challenge at the age of 19, he became incarcerated for more then half his life. This incident allowed Johnny to grow by a magnitude of positive changes throughout the years. This collection of poetry stems from Johnny's re-evaluation of his life, after being incarcerated. One of his accomplishments while incarcerated, was teaching himself how to read, write, and fluently speak Spanish in various dialects. Some of Johnny's pieces are in both English & Spanish. His pieces have a range of subjects. But the most important subject concerns how all his pain rooted from the absence of his late father.

As a young man, Johnny Lee Williams Jr. had many unresolved issues surrounding his father death. Due to this challenge at th age of 19 he became incarcerated for more then half his life. This incident allowed Johnny to grow by a magnitude of positive change through the years. "This is a dedication to my mother for the years of making my growth possible.
