Los Angeles, CA, May 31, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Actor / Comedian Willie Macc has joined the cast of "Incomplete", a romantic comedy centered around two youth church choirs, one African American and one Latino who are merging.
Best known as the funnyman on the hit Reality TV show, BET "College Hill Virgin Islands", Willie Macc has also appeared on the small screen in CSI and Journeyman. Still a newcomer to Hollywood, this marks the 6th film in under a year since booking his first gig in August of 2007 that Willie Macc has had a role in or has signed on to appear in ("Meet the Spartans", "House Arrest", "Chicago Pulaski Jones" "Hacking Hollywood", "The Scorpion" and "Incomplete").
A "College Hill Virgin Islands’ alumni", and soon college alumni (graduating 5/31/08), Willie Macc did a cameo appearance in the 2008 comedy spoof, "Meet the Spartans", as a "Yo Mama" joke cracking opponent of the Spartan army, as well as a cameo in the Cedric the Entertainer directed "Chicago Pulaski Jones". He co-starred in the direct to video, Friday-like comedy, "House Arrest", where he takes on the Chris Tucker-like side kick role. With his latest role, Willie Macc appears to be successfully making the transition from that of Reality TV star to a working member of Young Hollywood.
"Incomplete", which will begin principle shooting in Los Angeles on June 3rd, 2008, was written by actor / comedian / writer, Aida Rodriquez ("Caught in the Game", "Black Women’s Guide to Finding a Good Man") and is being directed by Sarah Poindexter ("Soulful", "The Adventures of Umbweki"). In this romantic comedy, the directors of the two choirs (played by Lamman Rucker - Tyler Perry’s "Why Did I Get Married" and "Meet the Browns", and Rodriquez) fall in love despite real differences between the two. The film also will co-star comedian / actor Tony Rock ("All of Us", "The Funny Spot", "Three Can Play That Game").
When asked about his thoughts on his latest project and seemingly being on a roll right now with regards to his acting career, Willie Macc responded, "It’s cool. I’m just glad to be working! But, naw, seriously, this actually is one of the best scripts I’ve ever read. I’m looking forward to shooting it. And then to get the chance to work with Lamman and Tony will be cool. I see both those guys all the time and know them personally, so it should be fun. Not to mention the beautiful women that they got lined up to co-star in the movie."
