Antiques for Everyone Returns to the NEC
Birmingham, United Kingdom, May 31, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Antiques for Everyone, Britain’s premier dedicated antiques event, is returning to the NEC for four days from 24th - 27th July 2008.
With over 400 specialist dealers from around the world, Antiques for Everyone is Britain’s largest vetted and datelined antiques fair, featuring an unrivalled range of high quality authenticated antiques, fine art and objets d’art.
Prices range from £10 for Victorian novelties to more than £100,000 for the finest paintings.
The event, now in its 23rd year, is a destination for everyone from private collectors and regular trade buyers to interior design enthusiasts and fans of The BBC’s Antiques Roadshow. With objects totaling more than £20m on display, visitors can browse fine period furniture, pottery, glass, sculpture, jewellery, fashion, arts and crafts and much more.
Two of the main attractions at this season’s fair include a display of Carlton Ware ceramics featuring more than 500 items, including fine Art Deco pieces, from a private collection. Originating from Stoke-on-Trent, the collectable ceramics are best known for the intricate designs in decorative tableware and its well-known Oriental designs such as ’Babylon’ and ’Persian Garden’, which are collected worldwide.
The show’s new room scenes feature sees experts in the field of interior design illustrate how to decorate rooms from different periods, bringing decoration and design to life and providing visitors with inspiring ideas for their homes.
With more than 50,000 antiques on sale, Antiques for Everyone is great day out for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
