BCS Auction To Conduct Liquidation Sale for Yakima Mainstay ‘Studio D’
Yakima, WA, June 03, 2008 --(PR.com)-- BCS Auction Company will begin a month-long public liquidation sale of Studio D’s entire inventory of interior design, home furnishings and accessories, antiques, collectables and Christmas décor on Tuesday, June 3, 2008.
After 37 years of serving the Yakima area, Dean Hammermeister has made the difficult decision to retire and close the doors of Studio D forever. Dean, an interior design aficionado, operates Studio D, at 807 West Yakima Avenue in Yakima, Washington. The modest building houses a hidden treasure trove of unique home furnishings and accessories.
Themed rooms throughout the studio present a surprise at every turn. From pieces created by local artisans, to nationally known makers, there is something for everyone at Studio ‘D’. The extensive list includes silver pieces, curios, tables, lamps, fine china, an extensive collection of McCoy pottery, Elvis collectables, vast amounts of Christmas and holiday décor. Dean’s unsurpassed talent is apparent in the attention to detail presented in the most friendly of atmospheres. Photos showcasing Dean’s travels and his history in the area adorn the walls, telling the tale of years of painstaking hard work.
