Boston, MA, March 15, 2023 --(PR.com)-- The Web Marketing Association is looking for the best small business Websites in the world as part of their 27th annual international WebAward Competition for Web site development at the WebAward Web site. The WebAwards is the standards-defining competition that sets benchmarks for 86 industries, including a category for small business websites, based on the seven criteria of a successful Web site. The deadline for small business web sites to enter to be judged is May 31, 2023.
“Small business marketing has been truly transformed by the Internet. For small businesses, a website can be a game-changer. It can help increase visibility, credibility, and sales,” said William Rice, President of the Web Marketing Association. “A small business company’s websites can now allow that company to do business all over the world, if that website is effective. The WebAward Competition provides a unique opportunity for small businesses to showcase their website and gain recognition for their efforts in providing an exceptional online experience for their customers. Being named an ‘award-winner’ can be a marketing opportunity as well.”
Web sites are judged on seven criteria including design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copy writing and ease of use. Each WebAward entry in the advertising category is judged against other advertising entries in its industry category and then against an overall standard of excellence.
