PMI Announces Its October 2008 Short Course
Porous Materials, Inc. readies for its October Short Course and is now accepting registrations.
Ithaca, NY, June 04, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Porous Materials, Inc. (PMI) is proud to announce its October Short Course to be hosted during the week of October 14th - 16th at its headquarters in Ithaca, NY. Their short courses bring together pore structure and characterization experts for three days of lectures, discussions and hands-on practice with our machines. The presented material addresses the theory and application of methods for determining pore structure and pore distribution in a variety of materials.
Course attendees will learn the basics and come up to speed on the latest advances in porosity characterization techniques, the schedule includes plenty of time for one-on-one discussion with the technical staff and engineers, and each day ends with dinner at one of the fine local restaurants. Also offered are sight-seeing opportunities which include a wine tasting tour of some of the area's extraordinary wineries, a tour of some of Ithaca's beautiful local water falls (one of the main attractions for Ithaca), and a walking tour of the Cornell University campus, one of the premier Ivy League schools in the country.
Here's what some of the attendees of past courses have said:
"The course was very informative and well planned. The schedule & lectures covered a wide variety of testing procedures for different types of materials. I found the course very beneficial. I would be interested in coming back....There is great expertise at PMI and I was very impressed. Job well done!"
"This was an excellent course. Very well done and one of the most comprehensive courses I've been to."
"…this was the best run, most informative, and pleasantest training experience I've had in 23 years of industry. My compliments to your whole team
As you can see, they do their best to make sure the course is not only informative, but fun as well. To find out more information on the short course and to register now, please visit their website at:
