B2B’08 - Kent County’s Most Established Business to Business Exhibition
Mind Gliding will be amongst the exhibitors at the “B2B 2008 – Business to Business Exhibition” 8” show case to be held at the Ashford International Hotel in Ashford (Kent, UK) on 24th June 2008.
Ashford, United Kingdom, June 04, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Again, this year, Mind Gliding will exhibit next to The Land Rover Experience, which with they have teamed up to provide an innovative approach to management training and development that provide senior managers and business executives with an opportunity for growth and development that includes excitement and fun.
Chris Avery, Marketing director at Land Rover Experience said: “Driving a powerful 4x4 vehicle over and through challenging obstacles is like life in business. It involves applying the power in a controlled, planned and organised way to successfully arrive at a desired outcome. Harnessing the available energy and applying traction to suit various conditions ensures efficient and effective use of resources”.
Malcolm Fever, Manager of the Land Rover Experience at Eastwell, in Ashford, added:“ The approach is unique. It gives the opportunity of linking psychological effects with the Land Rover Experience. By bringing these together it allows Mind Gliding to become a very consultative tool in the workplace.”
The ‘Drive-your-business’ management development programme is successfully running for over a year now and many organisations, of which some were coming as far as from the Channel Islands and Switzerland, have profited from this unique programme.
Carol Breuilly, Director of a large global trust company describes her experience as follows: "A fun day was had. We all achieved the unexpected – putting our trust in a vehicle and the instructor. We had to listen and learn very quickly! The whole experience taught us to assess the situation and use tools we had to find the best way to complete the course. The afternoon allowed us to understand how we can put what we have learnt into our day to day working life at work – and this is just the beginning!"
Next to the ‘Drive-your-business’ programme, Mind Gliding provides management training that focuses on building and improving relationships and communications within organisations. Effective stress and change-management, as well as conflict resolution are all part of an extensive staff development portfolio of programmes.
Mind Gliding likes to market their services to organisations as authentic and exclusive and when Peter Gleeson, the Executive Director was interviewed by the BBC, it was concluded that "Mind Gliding is Valuable Contribution to better Communication."
Relationship:
Mind Gliding are registered business psychologists. Their programmes are tailor-made and directed to personal development within the managerial role. Based upon relationship, they open up the possibilities of development and growth beyond traditional management development training and learning.
Dr Kloprogge comments: “We realised that in areas of management development there is lack of material that highlights the significance of relationship and communication between people involved in corporate management. Consequently Mind Gliding has created programmes for leaders (Business Leadership Programme) and senior managers, like the Coaching Practice for Managers that look further than schooling, training and learning on how to become a good leader/manager.”
Peter Gleesen adds: “We often are approached by business organisations that have underlying ‘people’ problems that are not always easy to define. We like to work with the people in organisations and act as an accelerant towards a desired outcome, helping them to achieve their goals.”
Visitors of this year’s Kent Vision 2020, the largest conference and Business Exhibition in Kent, were impressed by the range of products and services that Mind Gliding has to offer.
