Hamplex.com, a website for HAM radio operators today announces that it is scheduled to come out of it’s beta phase May 1, 2006.

Flower Mound, TX, April 05, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Hamplex.com, A website for HAM radio operators today announces that it is scheduled to come out of it’s beta phase May 1, 2006.

The launch will open up a fresh new avenue for HAM operators young and old and will also feature software releases that will simplify mundane and complex task that are sometimes related to HAM radio.

The first of these software programs “RadiaGram” will facilitate the digital storage and retrieval of radiograms (short messages sent via HAM radio) eliminating the need for space consuming paper.

The eventual goal of Hamplex.com is to educate the American public of the necessity of ham radio in emergency situations such as tornadoes, floods, fire, and hurricanes etc. most of the time during one of these disasters normal means of communication (telephones) are knocked out. And the only way to ensure proper aid is delivered to the disaster area is through a quick and reliable communication system even if that system is more than 100 years old.
