IIE Begins Filming Scritp-Contest Winner, Last Call

Providence, RI, April 06, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Image Icon Entertainment continues to support the independent film community of New England by filming Last Call. Selected from almost 1,500 scripts that were submitted as part of IIE’s first annual Production and Screenplay Contest, Last Call is the first of the four short-film script contest winners. Filming commenced on Wednesday, April 05, 2006 at the Sunnyside Recreation Club in Providence, RI.

Last Call tells the story of a woman in a bar that slips something into the drinks of men who hit on her. Then, she tells them they've been poisoned—but is she telling the truth or just exacting a macabre psychological revenge?

Last Call was written by Kevin Boyle and directed by Jamie Benti. The Executive Producer is Jenna Sullivan. The film stars Darya Zabinski, Jon Pierce, Terrence Haddad, Mick Hoegen, and Joey Vacchio. The film is the first of four contest winners. Two other winning scripts have been announced: Bob Heske’s Double Talk and Marqus P. Bobesich’s Are We Welcoming and Warm?. A fourth winner will be announced in May, 2006.

Image Icon Entertainment is a small production and entertainment company with a focus on bringing great scripts, ideas, and useful products and services to New England audiences. IIE previously produced AutoXcite, a web-based digital video project aimed to helping consumers become educated and save money on automotive purchases. Other projects being filmed this year include, CreditXcite, Double Talk, and Are We Welcoming and Warm.
