Blog Based Novel Now a Paperback

The Dondridge Group has published the first novel by Brian Eldridge, a part-time sports writer, called "The Hill."

Birmingham, AL, June 11, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Blog-Based Novel Now a Paperback.

Brian Eldridge, a part-time sports writer and co-founder of The Dondridge Group, has written his first official novel, and published it on the LuLu.com.

Mr. Eldridge originally wrote the story on his Yahoo! 360 Blog, chapter by chapter. After months of writing, he finally finished “The Hill” in early June. An urban tale of success, crime, and celebrity, “The Hill” portrays the rise of a young singer and the pitfalls surrounding him.

Brian Eldridge comments: “I wanted to do something different. I wanted to show the music industry from the perspective of an outsider and show more about the criminal element that may be present in the lives of many of our top entertainers in a fictional world.”

Eldridge initially started the story just as something to pass the time. But demand for more of the story increased from his blog readers. He chose to write as much as possible, when he could; even writing parts of it while on break and on lunch while at work. The book took him over a year to write.

Brian Eldridge comments: “So many people asked me what I was going to do when I got finished. Was I going to get it published? What were my plans? I did a little research online and found LuLu.com. I thought that was my best option for publishing the book.”

Dene' Donley Dondridge Co-Founder comments: "We're very excited to have an opportunity to put our name on the market, in the self-publishing industry. We hope to add many other pieces of literature to our lineup in the near future."
