EnergyWatch to Make BuildingsNY Event “Carbon Neutral”
New York, NY, June 12, 2008 --(PR.com)-- BuildingsNY, the event covering the commercial and residential buildings industry in the New York City metro area, will be ‘green’ this June 17-18th at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, NY. Thanks to EnergyWatch Inc., a New York-based utility rate consulting firm, BuildingsNY will be made carbon neutral. Carbon emissions generated by the show, including attendee travel related emissions and venue electricity, will be offset by EnergyWatch via renewable energy credits and carbon offsets sourced from 3Degrees. The renewable energy credits and carbon offsets will be derived from a blend of resources; wind, biomass, landfill gas, geothermal and agricultural methane capture.
We are happy to support entities willing to embrace a ‘green’ sustainable attitude,” said Jay Raphaelson, President of EnergyWatch.
