Weiss Serota Helfman Pastoriza Cole & Boniske Welcomes Four New Attorneys

Fort Lauderdale, FL, June 13, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The law firm of Weiss Serota Helfman Pastoriza Cole & Boniske announced that it has added four new attorneys to its staff. The attorneys will cover various practice areas for the firm, which serves corporate, government and individual clients.

Blanca Maria Valle will be joining the firm’s Miami office as an associate and will focus her practice on commercial litigation. She is fluent in English, Spanish, French, Italian and conversational Portuguese. Additionally, she is a member of The American Bar Association, Cuban American Bar Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and Bankruptcy Bar for the Southern District of Florida.

Valle earned her B.A. cum laude from the University of Florida and her J.D. from the Frederic G. Levin College of Law at the University of Florida, where she graduated with honors and participated in JESSUP International Moot Court.

Also joining the firm’s Miami office, Gloria Velazquez Meitin will focus her practice on private land use and municipal law. Joining as of counsel, her focus of practice includes servicing developer clients and property owners in matters as land use plan amendments, platting, permitting, zoning, site plan approvals; variances and due diligence.

Velazquez Meitin earned her B.S. from Florida International University and her J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law.

Joining the firm’s Ft Lauderdale office as an associate, Matthew Pearl will focus his practice on governmental and municipal law. Mr. Pearl’s previous experience includes the representation of several of the nation’s most prominent lending institutions as well as serving as in-house counsel for one of Florida’s largest non-profit affordable housing developers.

Pearl earned his B.A. at Florida International University, where he spent six consecutive semesters on the Dean’s List. He received his J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law.

Daniel Seigel is joining the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office and will focus his practice on commercial and governmental/municipal litigation. Mr. Seigel’s litigation experience includes representing clients in a wide variety of real property, employment, and contract disputes.

Seigel earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from The George Washington University and his J.D., from Boston University School of Law.
