Sonitrol Pacific Verified Alarm Leads to One Arrest
Tacoma, WA, June 14, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Police arrested a suspected burglar after Sonitrol Pacific audio sensors detected activity inside a Washington school June 12.
An experienced Sonitrol Pacific sound analyst received an impact activated audio signal from the school early in the morning. She listened to real-time audio to determine the nature of the activity at the school. Hearing a lot of movement followed by additional signal activations, the operator dispatched police.
Officers arrived at the school and quickly tracked down the suspected intruder. Upon arrest, police found computers and projectors from the school in the individual’s possession. Officers also discovered the suspect drove a stolen vehicle to the school.
