Southampton, PA, June 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- NewAge(R) Industries is pleased to announce that its brand of PVC tubing, Clearflo(R), is now available from stock in more than 50 sizes. Ranging from 1/16” through 4” I.D. (inner dimension), Clearflo’s inventory is intended to meet the requirements of a wide variety of industries such as food, medical, pharmaceutical, chemical, OEM, MRO, and general industrial.
Clearflo is a versatile product designed to handle an assortment of applications involving liquid transfer, air lines, processing, and jacketing for protection or bundling. Clearflo is lightweight yet tough and abrasion resistant. It offers glass-like clarity with flexibility similar to rubber.
Clearflo addresses the demands of clean uses with its mirror-smooth surface for outstanding flow and the resistance of bacteria and sediment buildup. It’s manufactured from non-toxic ingredients that conform to FDA and 3A standards, and the tubing is NSF registered (NSF-51). The compound meets USP Class VI requirements, and Clearflo may be sterilized by autoclave. Clearflo does not impart any taste or odor to products within it.
For the rigors of industrial applications, Clearflo offers durability and resistance to a wide range of chemicals, gases, acids, and corrosives. The tubing handles temperatures from -41°F (-40.5°C) to 175°F (79.4°C). A special grade formulated to remain flexible when used with fuels and oils is also available.
When application pressures are higher than Clearflo is made to withstand, reinforced PVC tubing should be considered. Certain styles of reinforced PVC will also handle vacuum requirements. NewAge Industries stocks several versions of reinforced PVC tubing, as well as a large inventory of fittings and clamps. Hose assemblies and other custom options for Clearflo—colors, heat-formed shapes, thermal bonding, cut-to-length pieces—are available.
