Café Des Amis Celebrates Music Day in Covent Garden

Music Day not only in exhibition road. Cafe des Amis celebrate fete de la musique in Covent Garden Saturday 21st with Dorinel Bastide.

London, United Kingdom, June 19, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Café des Amis brings a little taste of France to Covent Garden every day of the year. Saturday 21st June sees one of the most important cultural events France celebrates, the summer solstice also known as Music Day.

In France, every city and village will be promoting street music with local bands and young artists performing around public places for the beauty of the art.

In London, Music Day celebrations are limited to Exhibition Road. Café des Amis believes Music Day should be spread all over London to be true to its original aim of music for all.

Café des Amis is offering Dorinel Bastide a young French sopranist (male soprano) and pianist a chance to perform a solo repertory of famous opera and legendary musical themes.

This is an opportunity for all music lovers to discover a unique and talented voice. Having learnt music from an early age, Dorinel Bastide studied piano and singing at the Conservatoire for over 10 years. His exceptional male soprano voice offers a level of purity rarely heard and that he shares with few in the world.

“It is said that I am a vocal phenomena because my voice is similar to a castrato” Dorinel Bastide.

Join Dorinel Bastide and Café des Amis for Music Day on Saturday 21st June from 7pm
