Louisville, KY, June 28, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Participating in the Louisville sports scene is about to become a whole lot easier with the July 4th introduction of Louisville Sports Leagues, an organization committed to developing sports leagues, tournaments and social events throughout the greater Louisville area. The league will begin with coed softball and kickball and add various leagues and activities as interest grows.
Individuals, small groups, or entire teams are invited to register and participate in leagues. Leagues are offered at recreational and intermediate levels for men and women who are at least 21 years old. Registration and other league information is available at http://www.louisvillesportsleagues.com.
“Joining Louisville Sports Leagues is a fun and easy way to build relationships and get involved in local sports,” said Reggie Gresham, league executive. “We are excited to provide Louisville area adults with a great option for sports and social activities while saving them valuable time and money by handling the organization and administrative tasks.”
Future leagues will include flag football, kickball, soccer, softball, sand and court volleyball, basketball, dodge ball, and corn hole. Most of the sports league activities are designed for people between 21 and 35 years old, however, the variety of leagues offered provides opportunities for anyone 21 and older.
Louisville Sports Leagues is an expansion of the already successful Nashville Sports Leagues which has been in operation since 2002. The Nashville organization regularly hosts recreational sports leagues, tournaments and social events for adults in the Nashville area.
