Jeff Fishburn to drive market expansion in the US.

Jeff Fishburn’s principal function will be to launch TVBLOB USA commercial operations and develop business with CE manufacturers, broadband operators, and content producers wanting to deliver over-the-top, TV services to television-viewing audiences. Jeff will be bringing to market the TVBLOB platform, an innovative technology that allows consumers to use common household televisions and standard broadband connections for completely new user experiences. This new “TVOS” (TeleVision Operating System) can be implemented in both traditional and hybrid set-top boxes, allowing consumers to access new Web-based TV services while kicked back on the couch with a remote control.

With more than 20 years of experience in the communications industry, Fishburn began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories in product/market development, later moving to Lucent Technologies in business management and then WINfirst as CTO where he was responsible for integrating voice, video, and data services into a single infrastructure that still supplies triple-play access with 100Mb connections to residential subscribers today.
Subsequently as CTO at DynamicCity, Fishburn created the first, large-scale Open Service Provider Network able to support multiple service providers, all delivering IP-based voice, data, and video services.
