Peoria, IL, June 21, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Unique Performance Volleyball Club (Operated by Unique Performance Volleyball, NFP) of Peoria, IL will be joining forces with National volleyball powerhouse Club Fusion Volleyball of Marengo, IL. Unique will join Club Fusion as their top 'Sister' club. The move was made official on Wednesday, June 18th 2008 after the Directors of both clubs met to discuss the future of the relationship. Unique and Fusion will be working hand in hand to assure the success and well-being of all the parents and players involved in their clubs. Fusion, under the leadership of long-time director Wayne King, will provide its years of experience, breadth of knowledge, and history of success to assist Unique in following in their sizeable footsteps.

Club Fusion is a volleyball club dedicated to always improving on past success, their foundation statement says "Each year Club Fusion will provide more value to its families (parents & players) than the year before." By utilizing the state-of-the-art Fusion Sports Center in Marengo, IL, and thanks to the dedication of the coaching staff, Club Fusion has proven to be one of the top club volleyball programs in the nation for the past 5 years. In 2007, Club Fusion qualified 8 teams for the USAV Junior Olympics, including 3 teams that finished 5th in the Open division, and a 16's team that was the National runner-up.

Along with experience, Fusion will also assist Unique in other areas such as new and improved apparel, clinics for its coaches, and a tournament schedule that will allow Unique players to compete alongside the best clubs in the Nation. In turn, Unique will be able to provide Club Fusion with young, innovative coaches that will do their best to make an impact and help club volleyball expand while assisting Club Fusion in reaching new pinnacles of success. Both sides are very excited about the newly formed relationship and what it will mean for their futures', Unique Performance Volleyball director John Sutton said, "This new relationship will provide a unique opportunity for central Illinois volleyball players to learn new skills and techniques that have made Club Fusion and its' athletes so successful in the past few years. With the help of Wayne King and his staff, we believe Unique Performance Volleyball will be able to offer training never before available in the Peoria area."

Unique to Offer Local Program
In addition to its highly touted "Royale" teams, Unique will offer a new look for parents and players. In order to accommodate those athletes searching for a lesser time commitment, Unique will be offering a 'Local' program. The local program will consist of less practices and tournaments, and overall, a less demanding schedule and shorter season for the players. All tournaments will be localized and there will be no extended travel time involved. The players that choose to participate in this program will still receive solid, experienced coaching that will assist them in achieving new highs in the sport of volleyball. The "Royale" teams will continue to provide the ultimate in volleyball training, and competition. More information and details will be released in the Fall of '08 regarding all programs.
