Fort Stockton, TX, June 23, 2008 --(PR.com)-- A car and a camera (www.acarandacamera.com) has opened it’s doors to amateur and professional photographers alike. The website, based in the little town of Fort Stockton, TX, has a mission: to create a photographic journey across the United States.

The site allows visitors to create their own personal photo albums and upload scenic photography taken anywhere in the US. Keywords are used to organize the photographs into separate state albums that anyone may view.

A car and a camera was founded by Aaron Townsend of Fort Stockton TX, as a means of sharing photos with friends and family members throughout the US.

“I have played with the idea of creating a nation wide depository for scenic photography of the US for quite a while now” he said, “but until recently, I haven’t had the time or the resources available to accomplish my goals. That has changed. I invite everyone with a camera to share their photos with the world!”
