Toronto, Canada, June 24, 2008 --(PR.com)-- pulse voice Inc., a leading provider of intelligent communications solutions for business and government organizations, today announced the Santa Clara Valley Health and Hospital System will deploy pulse’s Interactive Voice Response (IVR) solution to provide patients with over-the-phone medical and scheduling requests.
The pulse solution will enable the County of Santa Clara to integrate with hospital and insurance records and offer a number of self-service applications through the use of telephone automation. Applications include corresponding requests to pharmacies and doctors, providing patients with appointment scheduling and confirmation, prescription refills, medical and advice requests, lab test results, and a number of other information delivery services.
With text-to-speech functionality, the outbound notification will provide services in a dozen different languages. Customers can interact directly with information about services offered. They can request results and perform other operations from the comfort of their home and, if necessary, the system will transfer them to customer service representatives.
