Priority Networks and Intel Collaborate to Provide Seamless WI-FI
Priority Networks and Intel joined forces to demonstrate Seamless WI-FI at consecutive events.
Las Vegas, NV, April 18, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Las Vegas based Priority Networks, Inc., in conjunction with Intel’s dynamic WI-FI technology department, are proactively addressing the convention industries wireless woes. Exhibitors and attendees have multiple wireless service providers at a single show. The Hotel, Convention facility and any other port in the technology storm all require separate access as well as separate costs. Priority Networks, Inc. and Intel worked with WI-FI and Internet subscription-based organizations to provide Seamless Access at the Intel Developer Forum at the Moscone West in San Francisco, and again on a smaller scale in Las Vegas at the CTIA Wireless show at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Subscription-based organizations, such as: TeliaSonera, Syniverse, GSMA, iPass, Boingo, and Smart supply authentication login services to the traveling business industry, already. Priority Networks, Inc. and Intel asked these service providers to participate in Intel's Seamless Access demonstration. The main point of their teamwork was that the companies involved were able to create a seamless network to the end consumer. Priority Networks provided Intel sponsored access cards, which contained authentication credentials to be used at all participating properties. The teamwork was a success! Attendees were able to use the same authentication at the Moscone Center as well as the participating hotels for the length of the show.
Priority Networks’ VP, Engineering, John Jones, is proud of his experienced, savvy, and forward-moving company. He recognizes that “technology is universal and what separates us from the pack is how we utilize our technology to meet and anticipate the clients needs. Communication and connectivity isn’t just what this company does; it’s who this company is.”
Priority Networks provides quality Internet, networking and telecommunications to various facilities throughout the nation. Their services provide exhibitors, show management and wireless users the connectivity required during meetings and conventions.
