The AVID Soccer Equipment Review Announces 2008 Match and Training Ball Shoot-Out Winners
AVID Soccer congratulates the winners of their 2008 Training and Match Ball Shoot-outs. Brine, adidas, Puma and Umbro go head to head in a comparison for top honors.
Palmdale, CA, July 01, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Last year’s two ball Shoot-outs proved to be the most read article in AVID Soccer history, so it is with great anticipation that they release the results of this year’s Shoot-put. AVID Soccer Equipment Review conducted head-to-head comparisons of training level and match level balls. Each ball was thoroughly tested and the winners shined through.
The Training Ball comparison
In 2007, adidas walked away with the honors in the training ball category. This year, there is a new winner. The article (http://blog.avidsoccer.com/2008/06/19/avid-soccer-2008-training-ball-shootout.aspx) compared the balls for style and desirability; playability; and durability. The balls were tested by a variety of players under a variety of conditions. AVID Soccer would like to thank Umbro, Puma and Brine for participating.
The Match Ball comparison
Brine scored in 2007 and returned with a Championship ball for 2008. This comparison (http://blog.avidsoccer.com/2008/06/27/2008-premier-match-ball-shootout.aspx) reconvened the shoot-put testers to evaluate the flagship balls from Brine, Puma and adidas. A head to head comparison of style, consistency, playability and durability brought us a different result. The AVID Soccer Equipment Review would like to thank Brine, adidas and Puma for their participation.
