The author has released We The People for sale effective immediately. It is hoped that people will respond to this new approach to an old problem. Many people run or walk or cycle to raise money for the fight against this horrible disease. Mike Raymond is asking everyone to Read for Cancer.
With the Read For Cancer idea, each book can continue the fight as long as people keep handing it around. This is because the last page asks readers to donate to their local chapter of the Cancer Society and then pass the book along. They also get a darn good read in return.
All royalties and other revenues generated by the book will be donated entirely to the Canadian Cancer Society. The disease is one that respects no borders, race, creed, colour, age, nor sex. It must be beaten.
Mr. Raymond has experienced the shadow of Cancer which took his wife in 1999 following a four year battle. The book and the project are dedicated to Louiselle Bedard Raymond.
The book follows the events of a covert attempt by aliens to prepare earth for invasion. Cliff Tanner, CIA specialist, uncovers the plot and the race is on to defeat the aliens already here and prepare for those to come.
Following the nuclear attack on dozens of cities worldwide, video tapes are delivered to governments and News agencies. The 'terrorists' demand that all militaries disband and all weapon systems be destroyed.
Can the governments put aside politics, rivalries, and power struggles and unite to face a real foe? Can Cliff Tanner track down the culprits before more bombs go off? Then the race is on to prepare for the next event, actual invasion.
