Drumoverdubs Finishes Major Studio Remodel

DRUMOVERDUBS™ has just completed an exhausting remodel of its main Wrecking Room Studio. “This was a bottom to top remodel to create an entirely new and sonically superior recording environment. I couldn’t be happier with the result.” DRUMOVERDUBS was one of the first to deliver live, original drum tracks via the Internet. It’s proven itself to be the simple affordable way for songwriters and producers to collaborate with an experienced and creatively charged drummer, from anywhere in the world.

Lyons, CO, April 17, 2006 --(PR.com)-- What does a world-class drummer with an impressive studio and performance resume, a vast array of vintage and contemporary drums, a killer inboard/outboard set-up and a long list of satisfied clients do to improve the sound of his drum track overdub product? What else… improve the sound of the room!

DRUMOVERDUBS™ has just completed an exhausting remodel of its main Wrecking Room Studio. A dusty and excited DRUMOVERDUBS founder, Brian McRae, expressed his satisfaction from the finished job site: “This was a bottom to top remodel to create an entirely new and sonically superior recording environment. I couldn’t be happier with the result.” The room’s old wood floor on aging joists was replaced with 6” of poured concrete topped with a new, floating wood floor; new acoustically-textured walls encase the entire tracking environment; and new & variable, acoustical sound management features have been installed to better shape the capture of Brian’s array of live drum sounds. Improvements to working efficiency include new lighting, new converters, a new, ergonomic layout design for the racks and consoles and a warmer, more comfortable color scheme.

An enthusiastic McRae exclaims, “this is an entirely new creative environment – one that DRUMOVERDUBS client will certainly hear and feel coming out of their speakers. I’ve always been proud of the quality of my drum track product, but I have to say, we just kicked it up another few notches.”

Featured in Recording and Guitar Player Magazine, DRUMOVERDUBS was one of the first to deliver live, original drum tracks via the Internet.
