SEE Science Center Continues to Broaden with New Exhibits
Science Center Gets New Exhibits for Summer Traffic.
Manchester, NH, July 09, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The SEE Science Center, New Hampshire’s premiere hands-on destination for kids, has opened several new exhibits focusing on space-based earth science, momentum, gears, levers and the mechanical advantage of using pulleys.
The Center’s newest exhibit, ViewSpace, portrays the beauty and wonder of the universe and our planet as seen from above, and guides the viewer to a deeper understanding of astronomy. The internet-based exhibit, from the Space Telescope Science Institute, home of NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope and its successor, the James Webb Space Telescope, is continually updated from NASA so this exciting astronomy exhibit will never go out of date.
“The newest addition to SEE transforms our ‘mini-theater’ into an ever-changing kaleidoscope of inspiring and educational presentations of the latest and most beautiful in astronomy and space-based earth science,” says Douglas Heuser, Executive Director of SEE. “This exhibit, as well as all of our other exhibits, will inspire many to stay interested in science, for years to come.”
SEE is a hands-on science center established to promote the excitement and enjoyment of science. With nearly 100 exhibits, visitors of all ages have fun learning about science by actually doing science. SEE has been getting kids from toddlers to teens excited about science, math and technology since 1986.
