Local College Students to Produce Music Festival for Charity
Madison, WI, July 09, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Encore Project, a local company run by college students, is bringing its signature event, the Clockmaker Music Festival to downtown Madison. The event will be held at 30 on the Square from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 23rd and Sunday, August 24th.
Proceeds from the festival will go to Invisible Children, Inc., a non-profit group helping children in Uganda. Artists will include both local and regional acts, with four bands performing each day. No admission will be charged, and attendees are encouraged to donate on their own accord. * Eighty percent of proceeds after expenses will be donated to Invisible Children, while the other twenty will be used to fund the Encore Project.
