Beracah to Unveil New Model at Delaware State Fair
Beracah Homes is revealing a new modular home at this year's Delaware State Fair. Categorized as "off-site, stick built" construction, the new model has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and is completely customizable.
Greenwood, DE, July 09, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Beracah Homes has announced the unveiling of a new version of its popular “Pocomoke” model at this year’s 2008 Delaware State Fair. Harrington natives and previous State Fair livestock exhibitors Roger & Wayne Collison, worked extensively with the Delaware State Fair to have this new model completely box set, before the start of this year’s fair. The home will give fair attendees the opportunity to tour a Beracah built model home, which is constructed locally at Beracah’s modular plant in Greenwood.
With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths a new model from Beracah Homes at this year’s Delaware State Fair is anything but a standard; that is, except for that it’s Energy Star ready. All homes built by Beracah, have several Energy Star features in place upon their departure from their plant in Greenwood, such as thicker exterior walls and added insulation. Further customization by preferred builders increase each home’s overall energy efficiency and is dependent on the customer to be Energy Star certified. The model will feature an unfinished, but finishable upstairs and carry a 9/12 roof pitch. Steeper sloped roofs are generally more visually pleasing to today’s homebuyers and tend to last longer as well. Said Roger Collison (Vice President of Beracah Homes) “the Fair gives us the opportunity to showcase the talents of the many local builders and workers from our plant to a very wide audience. From starter homes to customized homes, Beracah is leading a technological revolution in homebuilding,” The new model will also provide interactivity to visitors, with video tours of their plant, demonstrations of home settings & the opportunity to work directly with Beracah employees from their Greenwood office. The Delaware State Fair runs from July 17th-26th.
