Big Fish Group Subsidiary QJumpers Snaps Up Job Seeking Website Anonymouse and Ties Up with EMAs

Tauranga, New Zealand, July 09, 2008 --(PR.com)-- National online recruitment company QJumpers today announced they had snapped up nationwide job seeker website Anonymouse.

With the purchase, the recruitment site has also taken over the partnership with the Employer Associations of Business NZ - Employers and Manufacturers Association (EMA) Northern and Central, Canterbury Employers’ Chamber of Commerce and the Otago Southland Employers’ Association.

Tauranga based adventure education and employment company the Big Fish Group owns QJumpers, an online recruitment company that helps employers to recruit staff.

QJumpers spokesman Simon Oldham said their services are perfect for small to medium sized businesses “The tools we are providing help Employers’ to recruit like the professionals without the associated price tag”.

"We don’t pretend to be able to tell employers who’s best for their culture and team. What we do is give them the information and the tools to be able to make an informed decision themselves.

"Given the skills shortage in New Zealand and our partner network of over 16,000 New Zealand companies, QJumpers will become a major player."

QJumpers was set up five years ago by Tauranga entrepreneur and Big Fish founder Mark Scapens. They are able to reach 75 per cent of New Zealand job seekers.

Big Fish also own Scuba Schools International, Adventure Education, QualMaster and Action Adventure. Scapens wanted to make recruitment smarter, easier and cheaper for the average New Zealand business owner.

Scapens is credited for rescuing the ageing former Devonport Ferry. Two years and $2.5 million later, the Kestrel on the Landing was launched. Attached to a pontoon and seating up to 300 people, it is the first of its kind in New Zealand.
