CEO Challenges Announces CEO Tennis Challenge Entries Available for Head to Head Competition in Carmel
Carmel, CA, July 10, 2008 --(PR.com)-- CEO Challenges, the world leader in sport competitions for CEOs, announces a new CEO Challenge, a unique tennis competition at the Carmel Valley Ranch resort on Oct. 17-20. The CEO Tennis Challenge will include a 24-person competition and keynote talk and tips from Peter Burwash, a former touring tennis professional, author, and president of Peter Burwash International, the world’s largest tennis management company, with operations in 23 nations.
The CEO Tennis Challenge includes a doubles format, where players draw for partners, then rotate partners in preliminary rounds and accumulate points for each game won. The top four individual point scorers will then compete in a playoff to determine the top point scorer and the Best CEO Tennis Player title. A side competition will be held to determine the fastest and most accurate server, and the resort’s head instructor, Clark Corey, will oversee the competition.
The all-inclusive entry is $3,100 for each competitor, and because CEO Challenges organizes its competitions as family-oriented events, guest fees for each competitor are greatly reduced. A portion of the entrance will be donated to charity.
Participants must be CEOs, owners, presidents leading companies with at least $2 million in annual revenue. Registration includes a two night, three day stay at the Carmel Valley Ranch golf and tennis resort community, ranked as one of the top 10 tennis resorts nationwide; instructional tips from Burwash; meals; an awards ceremony; and great networking opportunities with other CEOs.
