Technical Seminars
According to Tony Cantone, President of The Hope Group LLC, one of the subsidiaries of THG Corporation, there will be limited seating for a series of educational workshops and seminars conducted by experts from Parker Hannifin, Kaeser Compressor and other manufacturers that are represented by The Hope Group. He said pre-registration is required so that no one is disappointed. There will be a 5,000 square foot trade show exhibit with over a dozen booths demonstrating the latest in technology from various manufacturers. Previous workshops conducted at The Hope Group have filled up rapidly, according to Cantone. Also, there will be food and entertainment to create an enjoyable atmosphere during the event. A catered lunch will be served to attendees both days.
Among the technical seminar topics are: hydraulic plumbing, pneumatic technology, mobile electro-hydraulics, industrial electro-hydraulics, o-ring selection and sizing, air compressor systems, compressed aluminum piping, nitrogen generator technology and supply chain management.
Parker Tech Tour Truck
Among the most interesting exhibits will be the traveling Parker “Tech Tour” truck. In previous visits to The Leen Company, a THG Corporation subsidiary in Portland, Maine, the truck created a lot of excitement for visitors to its hydraulic and fluid connector exhibits. The Parker truck brings innovative industrial products, hands-on demonstrations, interactive displays and training classes directly to customer locations and the Parker Store locations operated by THG Corporation.
The Parker truck consists of a 79 foot trailer and tractor with a combined weight of 78,000 pounds. The trailer is on the road throughout the year across the country and Canada, according to Phil Lund, VP of The Hope Group. He pointed out that the topics covered by the exhibit include hydraulic maintenance, dry technology plumbing, tube fabrication, cartridge valve technology and the proper sizing of pneumatic systems.
Motion Simulator Ride
Also, as part of its “Innovation in Motion” concept, Parker has included a motion simulator on-board the trailer. It has a seating capacity for six people (riders) and is always a hit for visitors as they experience Parker’s total system solution by riding in the motion simulator from Doron Precision Systems, Inc.
Other exhibitors who have already committed to conducting training seminars and hosting exhibit space include Parker Seals division, Kaeser Compressors, Cutler-Hammer, Parker Automation, Parker Fluid Connectors and many other leading industrial manufacturers. The Hope Group has added an Open House page to its website describing the Tour, the Show and the Seminars that will be featured.

The Hope Group is a leading independent industrial distributor in New England, with main headquarters in Northborough, MA.
