Launch of Special Education Research Information Website
Natasha Veale, M.Ed. has recently announced the release of a new website located at http://www.SpecialEducation2008.com. The website will connect online resources, articles, and books, giving visitors thorough information on Special Education topics
Greensboro, NC, July 15, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The website offers easy navigation for visitors to find extensive resources on topics including Special Education Law, Section 504, Discipline Procedures, Inclusion, Referral and Evaluation, Individualized Education Plans, Transition Services, IDEA, NCLB, and Special Education Administration. It also provides links for popular Special Education online journals and resources based on specific disabilities. To enhance the visit, a bookstore specifically designed for the incorporated topics in Special Education is also provided on the site.
“Wow, Natasha. This is great! May I share with (students in) my other Special Ed. course? Thanks!” says Dr. Kathleen Mondell, a Special Education Professor at Capella University. This site is designed to give information and to be used as a reference on topics in Special Education that can benefit parents, teachers, school administrators, undergraduate, and graduate students in the field. Visitors to the site can use this information to plan, advocate for, and contribute to the administration of special education services.
SpecialEducation2008 was originally designed to serve as a research tool for students in their degree programs, but was expanded to meet the needs of all who have a desire to learn more and help to benefit the lives of students with disabilities.
Natasha Veale is a former Special Education Teacher and currently a Research Associate and Adjunct Instructor at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in the Special Education Department.
