Global MainFrame Appoints Peter Wallis to Advisory Board
Peter Wallis is a well-known and respected expert in the field of transportation and logistics, based at Calgary's prestigious Van Horne Institute, and he recently accepted an appointment to the Advisory Board at Global MainFrame.
Calgary, Canada, July 16, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Steve Turcotte, CEO of leading SaaS solutions provider Global MainFrame, announced today the company has appointed Peter Wallis to their Advisory Board, effective immediately. The Advisory Board is a panel of distinguished experts drawn from Global MainFrame’s external stakeholder communities and plays a key role in advising its Directors on emerging trends, strategic planning and platform development. “Peter is a leader and a bona fide transportation expert,” enthuses Turcotte. “We’re all incredibly excited about this announcement.”
Currently, Wallis is president and CEO of the Van Horne Transportation Institute, an internationally recognized think-tank affiliated with the University of Calgary, whose researchers address critical transportation problems, including those of a regulatory nature. He is a lawyer, a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, and also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Calgary Airport Authority, having spent over 14 years as a senior airline executive with Pacific Western and Canadian Airlines.

Originally from Toronto, and now residing in Calgary, Wallis has previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of a publicly traded company. He joins an elite team of professional executives, which unveiled its Energy Resource Manager platform at the Global Petroleum Show.
