Stories for Children Magazine’s Art Direct, Chrissy Fanslau Resigns
Stories for Children Magazine Founder & Editor-in-Chief, VS Grenier announced the resignation of Chrissy Fanslau, July 7, 2008.
Ivins, UT, July 16, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Chrissy Fanslau joined the Stories for Children Magazine team as Art Director after being a contributing illustrator. Chrissy’s been a powerful force in getting Stories for Children Magazine ready for print in the next couple of years. Her keen eye in pairing the right illustrators to the magazine has greatly improved the overall look and feel of Stories for Children Magazine. This influence has also help launch Stories for Children Magazine to a spot as one of the most sought after Ezines for children.
“Chrissy Fanslau stated to the SFC team that she’ll still contribute to the magazine as an illustrator,” said Founder & Editor-in-Chief, VS Grenier. “Chrissy will be missed. She has brought the look and style we felt was right for our magazine and readership. I’m glad Chrissy’s business Cold Snap Studios is doing well. We wish her much success and look forward to the times she can contribute her talents to SFC.”
After a little more than a year at Stories for Children Magazine, Chrissy’s illustration and licensing business has taken off. With a booming business, Chrissy needs her spare time to focus on her family.
“Families are our highest priority at SFC,” said Grenier. “I make sure all my team and contributors put their families first before us. There will always be work to do here at SFC, but family moments come and go too fast.”
Stories for Children Magazine was started by VS Grenier in April 2007 as a free on-line magazine for children ages 3 to 12 years old. Although Stories for Children Magazine isn’t a paying market, those who contribute stories, artwork, or their time as part of the SFC Team believe that sharing stories with children is much more rewarding.
