Prudential Carolinas Realty Sales Associate Receives Award from Prudential Financial

Rock Hill, SC, July 16, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Prudential Carolinas Realty is proud to announce that Vickie Kessinger of the company’s Rock Hill office has won a Prudential CARES Volunteer grant from Prudential Financial. The program annually awards grants to charitable causes sales associates support through volunteering their time and money to organizations throughout the community. Prudential CARES distributes more than $450,000 each year nationally.

Kessinger was awarded a $1000 volunteer grant for the Children’s Attention Home of Rock Hill. She has supported the organization for more than seven years and has served on the Board of Directors since 2002, volunteering more than 560 hours last year alone.

“The Children’s Attention Home helps so many children who have been removed from their homes because of neglect or abuse. These are great children and just need someone to care for them. They have had to turn away so many children each year, because they do not have the space to help them all. Last year alone the home served 207 children, but had to turn away 204 due to lack of available beds. Our main goal is to not need the home anymore, but until then, we need to help all of the children we can,” Kessinger said.
