The Women’s Motorcycle Expo on June 3-4, 2006 at the Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn, CA is the first Expo of its kind, focusing on women who ride, women interested in riding, their peers, families and partners, welcoming all bikes, women and men riders.
Exhibitors will include major motorcycle and parts manufacturers, custom bikes, miscellaneous product and apparel vendors. Two days packed with fun and excitement featuring music, bike games, ride-in bike show, food, drinks and spirits, informative clinics and many opportunities to network with other bike enthusiasts and club members.
All day rockin’ music Saturday to include The Jeff Jones Band, The Hucklebucks, Harlee & The Sugar Daddies, Tom Foolery, Lydia Pense & Coldblood. Sunday to include Mad Dash, Gina Livingston, Beer Dawgs, Mama's Pride and AC/DShe
The Women’s Motorcycle Expo is sponsored by Auburn Harley-Davidson, Auburn Power Sports (Kawasaki, Polaris/Victory), Kymco, Coors Light, Smirnoff Ice, Mike-arita, Pepsi, 98 Rock, 96.9 Eagle, Cycle Trader and Sacramento News & Review.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Women Escaping a Violent Environment (WEAVE). Additional non-profit organizations and clubs will be in attendance providing attendees with activities and services with proceeds benefiting charity.
The Women’s Motorcycle Expo will inform and enrich the community about the many facets of the motorcycle lifestyle for women by providing a fun, safe, educational, and entertaining event.
Participants include Siren Custom Cycles’ Terri Lynn Link – “National Biker Build Off” Winner; AFT Customs, holder of the 2005-2006 Official World Champion Metric Bike Building Award; Wicked Witch Chopper – female designer from Lake Tahoe Chopper Company; Chicken Ranch Vintage Motorcycle Collection; Wild photo shoot puts participant on a Nor Cal Chopper with a gorgeous guy or girl; and Saturday Bike Wash – bubble bath for your bike by the men of Rebels with a Cause.
