Atlanta, GA, April 20, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The Marketing Underground, Inc., an Austin, TX based executive search firm, has announced the opening of an Atlanta office with Julie Galich as Managing Partner. Beginning April 10th, 2006 Galich, a long-time Atlanta advertising executive, will be providing executive search services for companies seeking the talents of senior level Marketing, Advertising and PR professionals.
“This has been an endeavor I’ve been researching for several years now” says Galich. “Having spent years in the advertising and marketing industry, I know the importance of recruiting and retaining quality individuals. However, I wanted to find a proven growth company that would enable me to utilize my background within the executive search industry.”
Texas advertising executive David Baker formed the Marketing Underground back in 2000. “All of our executives come from the world of marketing, advertising or public relations,” says Baker. He adds that, “This company was built on the premise that it takes a marketing type to recruit a marketing type. Helping companies find the perfect person and helping people find that life-changing job is what motivates us. With Julie, it was immediately obvious that with her extensive experience in advertising and contacts in Atlanta that this would be a perfect match for both parties concerned. Galich began her career in Atlanta as a media buyer and planner. Eventually, she transitioned to the account side as an account executive, account supervisor, and finally an account director. Additionally, she has experience recruiting in the consumer package goods industry.
