Julian Pavone, “The World’s Youngest Drummer!,” to Headline Brighton’s Annual Summer Fest
Bloomfield Hills, MI, July 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Julian Pavone, who became known as the “World’s Youngest Drummer” at 20 months old, will headline Brighton Michigan’s annual summer festival July 25 and July 26.
Brighton Summer Fest & Stonefire Bistro is presenting Julian, “The World’s Youngest Drummer!” and his band that includes legendary bassist Ralphe Armstrong (who has played with Santana, Frank Zappa, BB King, Aretha Franklin) and other band members, Vincent Fondale, Alex Raz and Tony Argiero.
Other performances include; Stephanie K and the Detroit Katz, Nostalgia Cleveland, The Euphorians, Francesco Cavallini and Rana Zee. The event is being produced by Harmonie Network of Novi, Michigan in association with Michael J. Powell (who has produced Anita Baker, Aretha Franklin and many more).
Julian, now four years old, will perform from 7-8 p.m. July 25 and from 8-9 p.m. July 26. His Brighton appearance comes only two weeks after appearing on Japan’s #1 Television Show, “Unbelievable”, and two months after his guest appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Julian, who has made headlines around the world, has appeared on 29 TV shows, including “Good Morning America”, “Martha Stewart”, “Inside Edition”, “MSNBC”, “WGN”, “FOX News Dayside”, “Good Company”, and many others.
He has also starred in a television show pilot, “Finding Julian’s Band” and was featured in a Korean documentary produced by Seoul Broadcasting Systems in 2007.
He has performed live on numerous radio stations and for many concert venues including the House of Blues. He has performed for the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Detroit Pistons, the Cleveland Indians, the Chicago Cubs and the Detroit Tigers.
He was also featured with the United Drumline at the opening ceremonies of the 2006 Cleveland Grand Prix. In addition to Julian’s full artist endorsements from Innovation Drum, Sabian cymbal and Vic Firth drumstick companies, he has inspired a series of children’s books, as well as the formation of Harmonie Network, a national entertainment company.
He was featured in “Ripley’s Believe it or Not,” was honored at the Hard Rock Cleveland with the “The 2007 Rock and Roll Lifetime Achievement Award”, received a Special Declaration of Tribute from the State of Michigan presented by Senator John Pappageorge, and received worldwide media coverage in more than 6,000 newspaper and magazine.
He is currently working on his second CD with four time-Grammy Award winning producer, Michael J. Powell.
