Coldwell Banker Howard Perry And Walston Hosts Bowling Event To Benefit Wake County Foster Care
Raleigh, NC, July 19, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Bill Guy, vice president and managing broker of the Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston Crabtree office (www.hpw.com), has announced that the firm is hosting a community bowling and raffle event to benefit the Wake County Foster Care program on Saturday, July 19, from 12 to 3 p.m. at Buffaloe Lanes South, located at 6701 Fayetteville Rd., in Raleigh. Sherry Ryals was announced as the winner of the raffle earlier this week. The raffle prize is a brand new, Proscan 42” LCD HD television.
Connie Batten and Sue Chen were the main coordinators of this event, and thanks to their hard work and the associates and staff, the Crabtree office has exceeded their financial goal, raising $2,900 for the Wake County Foster Care program. These donations and proceeds will cover the estimated $1,000 cost of the Foster Care bowling event, which is an annual activity designed to reunite separated foster brothers and sisters who may not have the opportunity to see each other during the year. Extra funds will be given to the Wake County Foster Care program for the purchase of children’s fall school supplies or to use for other expenses at their own discretion.
Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston is the largest full-service residential real estate company in the Triangle and one of the leading realty firms in the nation. For more information, visit their Web site at www.hpw.com.
“We are excited about the upcoming community event,” said Guy. “Wake County Foster Care is an exceptional program that we are very pleased to support, and we invite the community to come support them as well.”
