Abingdon at Tradition to Break Ground on Full-Service Retirement Community
Charlotte, NC, July 19, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Abingdon at Tradition, a master-planned, full-service retirement community developed by Senior Living Communities, will kickoff construction in Port St. Lucie with a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, July 31 at 8:30 AM. The community is expected to open mid 2009.
“When we chose Abingdon at Tradition, we were looking for a community with a variety of activities that was close to the current area that we live,” said new members Joy and Robert Spence. “We’ve met some very nice people, love the friendly atmosphere, the bright and airy apartments, the wellness program and having everything right here in the town of Tradition. The gated retirement community will provide a highly trained, round-the-clock staff to ensure unparalleled peace of mind. In addition, a 24-hour emergency notification system will be present in each of Abingdon at Tradition’s homes. The master plan, once complete, will include 70 single-family homes, 160 condominium-style villas, 26 enhanced living villas and 56 assisted living units, skilled nursing beds and Alzheimer’s care units.
