Mississippi Governor's Cup Awarded to Yogi on the Lake
Pelahatchie, MS, July 20, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Yogi on the Lake Awarded Governor’s Cup.
Legacy RV Resorts is proud to announce that their Mississippi RV Park, Yogi on the Lake, has been chosen to be one of the 6 outstanding businesses in the 3 regions across the state who will receive the 2007 Governor’s Cup Award. The award is sponsored by Governor Haley Barbour and the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA) in partnership with the Mississippi Economic Development Council (MEDC).
“The Governor’s Cup awards are designed to recognize those businesses that have demonstrated an outstanding ability to influence their communities for a better quality of life,” Governor Barbour said. “They represent the leaders across our state making a difference through their community involvement and economic impact.”
Yogi on the Lake worked with the city of Pelahatchie during construction and continues to have a close relationship with the community. “Our support from the community has been overwhelming.” Claudia Tutt stated. Claudia and her husband Howard Tutt are the managers of Yogi on the Lake.
With planned activities, an on site resteraunt and accommodations for everything from tents, to RV’s, to cabins, you would be hard pressed to find a better place to enjoy your stay. For those residents nearby, day rates are available so that everyone can enjoy meeting Yogi Bear ™, Boo Boo™, and Cindy Bear™, playing in the Water Zone, or just taking it easy fishing in the 95 acre lake.
