Rosemarie Mesis honored as New Jersey’s 2006 Investigator of the Year
The New Jersey Licensed Private Investigator’s Association (NJLPIA) announces Rosemarie Mesis of Manalapan, N.J. as the recipient of the 2006 Investigator of the Year Award.
Freehold, NJ, April 21, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The state association for private investigators in New Jersey, the NJLPIA, announced Rosemarie Mesis as the recipient of the 2006 William O’Neill Investigator of the Year award.
Rosemarie’s selection comes from more than 2,000 investigators represented by the statewide organization. She is the second woman to ever receive this award and she makes national history with her PI husband, Jimmie Mesis, who received the same award in 2003. This marks the first time a husband and wife have ever individually won Investigator of the Year titles in New Jersey.
Rosemarie became a private investigator in 1998 after a 23-year stint as a paralegal. She is licensed in New Jersey and New York and runs her Freehold, N.J. based investigative agency, Excerion, LLC, which specializes in locating people – including children who have become the victims of custodial kidnappings.
A client recently came to Rosemarie desperately seeking help. The client’s estranged wife had run off with their baby six years ago. Despite warrants out for her arrest, law enforcement officials had little luck in the investigation and had recommended against the client wasting his money hiring a PI. Within 24 hours of taking the case, Rosemarie not only located the wife and child, but was responsible for reuniting the client with his son the following day. This is just one of many cases Rosemarie has successfully completed when others thought the job could not be done.
The NJLPIA recognizes Rosemarie’s many investigative contributions, as well as her work in different aspects of the profession.
Not only is she a highly regarded investigator and a mentor to hundreds of female investigators, she also co-owns and publishes PI Magazine, the international trade publication for private investigators and law enforcement detectives, as well as the PI Magazine Bookstore.
Rosemarie also serves on the board of directors for PI Gear, Inc., (www.PIgear.com) one of the largest international online surveillance equipment suppliers of spy gear and investigative tools for PIs and law enforcement detectives.
In addition to running these companies, Rosemarie also operates PI Buzz (www.PIbuzz.com), the official blog of professional investigators.
The NJLPIA also commends Rosemarie for her recent accomplishment in organizing the first-ever World Investigators Conference held in Las Vegas where over 1,500 investigators from 22 countries attended.
The NJLPIA will honor Rosemarie Mesis the evening of May 19 at a ceremony in Atlantic City, N.J. For more details, please contact Bill Pavlou at (800) 836-3088 or at bill@pimagazine.com.
