Hamplex.com, a Resource for Ham Operators, Announces the Launch of its New Website

Hamplex.com to come out of beta testing will open new frontiers to amateurs worldwide.

Flower Mound, TX, May 01, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Hamplex.com announced today that it will come out of beta testing today and is ready to welcome amateurs young and old from all over the world to its website http://www.hamplex.com.

The goal of Hamplex is to educate the American public of the necessity of amateur radio in emergencies such as tornadoes, floods, fire, and hurricanes etc. most of the time during one of these disasters, normal means of communications (telephones) are clogged and/or knocked out.

One of the key factors in an emergency is time. A few seconds can mean the difference between life and death and any bottlenecks that occur in the communications process can prove disastrous. Hamplex hopes to help alleviate some of the bottlenecks by creating easy-to-use and deploy software.

The first of these software programs “RadiaGram” will facilitate the digital storage and retrieval of radiograms (short messages sent via HAM radio) reducing the need for space and time consuming paperwork.
