Pompano Citi Centre and the Broward Farm Bureau Present the First Free Taste of South Florida Lifestyles Show
Pompano Citi Centre and the Broward Farm Bureau present the free Taste of South Florida Lifestyles Show On Saturday, August 16th, from 9am-3pm. The event is a combination of local, healthy, and natural tastings, samplings, landscaping, and lifestyles.
Pompano Beach, FL, July 26, 2008 --(PR.com)-- On Saturday, August 16th, from 9am-3pm, Pompano Citi Centre plays host for the first time ever to the Broward Farm Bureau’s “Taste of South Florida”. “It’s a combination of local, healthy, and natural tastings, samplings, landscaping, and lifestyles. We want people to discover new ways of living and thinking to encourage them to buy more local products and services while they support local growth”, says Fred Segal, President of Broward Farm Bureau. Some participants include: Naturescape, the Wildlife Federation, By their Fruits, Florida Natural Energy, Diaper Duty, Bread Basket, and more.
The event will be held in the Pompano Citi Centre courtyard, located on the SW Corner of US1 and Copans Road at 1955 N. Federal Highway in Pompano Beach. Members of the farm bureau and other local participants will present agricultural related activities and projects for the kids, food samplings, food competitions with best appetizer, entrée, dessert and beverage, master gardener landscaping demonstrations, youth speech contest, conservation tips, and entertainment.
The event is free and open to the public. Free vendor spots are available for members of the bureau and $155 for non members to include a one year membership to the bureau. The event will continue rain or shine.
