North Carolina Make Mine A Million $ Business™ Program Hosts Informational Workshops for Applicants

Charlotte, NC, July 27, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Mary Cantando, coordinator for the North Carolina Make Mine a Million $ Business™ (www.makemineamillion.org) event, has announced that the organization will host informational conference calls for North Carolina women entrepreneurs completing applications for the North Carolina Make Mine a Million $ Business™ event. The application deadline is Monday, Sept. 3, and the event will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at the Blake Hotel, located at 555 S. McDowell St. The informational conference calls will be held by phone at the following times:

· Thursday, July 31 at 4 p.m.
· Wednesday, Aug. 6 at 4 p.m.
· Thursday, Aug. 14 at 4 p.m.

To participate, e-mail RSVPCC@countmein.org with a name, business name, e-mail address and the date of the conference call you want to attend. A confirmation e-mail from Make Mine a Million $ Business™ will provide further details.

The Make Mine a Million $ Business™ Program provides a combination of money, mentoring, marketing and technology tools that help women entrepreneurs grow their businesses from micros to millions. Twenty finalists will be selected from applicants statewide and asked to deliver a business pitch to women entrepreneurs, judges and guests at the event. Ten winners will be chosen by judges and audience members.
