Susan Brady received her BA degree in English-Education. She taught sixth grade in Boston, Massachusetts, and was employed as a Social Worker. After raising her two children she obtained additional course work in reading at the University of Central Florida and Valencia East Community College. She tutored at Lake Sumpter Community College and Seminole Community College in Florida in the Learning Centers. While at the community colleges, she researched educational computer programs and correlated them with the various reading and writing deficiencies. The student was tested and given a study and computer exercises guide and computer exercises that applied to any deficiencies. Grade Level Reading Simplified-A Handbook For Parents will assist parents who are concerned for their children's ability to read at grade level and are unsure of the validity of various testing methods.
