East Bay Chamber Announces 18 Finalists for Rhode Island’s Got Talent Show
East Bay Chamber announces 18 RIGT Finalists. The best singers and musicians in Rhode Island will contend for $1,750 in cash prizes at Rhode Island’s Got Talent Show on August 16th at Barrington High School.
Bristol, RI, August 04, 2008 --(PR.com)-- East Bay Chamber of Commerce announced today that 18 finalists have been chosen for their highly anticipated summer event, Rhode Island’s Got Talent. Finalists will contend for $1,750 in cash prizes on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Barrington High School at 7:00 pm.
RIGT Show will be approximately two hours with each contestant performance lasting roughly four minutes in length. There will be a half hour intermission with refreshments and concessions. Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded by RIGT judges following the final performance of the evening.
"The finalists represent exactly what Rhode Island’s Got Talent is all about. We have an opera singer, a beat boxer, two rock and roll bands, a swing band and more! It promises to be a well rounded evening of musical entertainment for the whole family.", said Betty Pleacher, President, East Bay Chamber of Commerce.

Charlie Hall of Ocean State Follies will be the host for the much anticipated event taking place on August 16th at Barrington High School. Tickets to Rhode Island's Got Talent are priced at $10 for adults and $6 for children younger than 10 and will be available for purchase the night of the event only.
